FIFA has issued an advisary that tickets for the 2010 World Cup finals will go on sale on February 20. Apparently tickets for the 2010 event are already on sale within South Africa (counterfeit tickets ofcourse). FIFA spokesperson Delia Fischer is quoted as saying “We want to make it clear to the public that tickets for the 2010 World Cup finals are only going on sale on February 20.”

The tickets can be purchased from the FIFA.com website or from over 700 FNB branches country wide. I wonder if the sale of tickets will be done better than the Confederation Cup ticket sale.
